Thank you for visiting Cosmic Caviar! How beautiful that we have a way to relate to the stars and planets? That pieces of the universe exists within us? Astrology is an ancient practice dating back thousands of years, deeply embedded with math, science, and mythology. While it is now mostly used as light entertainment, it was once regarded as a serious academic study and used in meteorology, astronomy, alchemy, and even medicine.

 

At its core, astrology is about looking to the stars for guidance. People saw images in the constellations and would use those images to tell stories and pass down wisdom. If you’re here, you’ve probably also looked up at the night sky in wonder and curiosity. Maybe you even wished you could be up there and a part of that. Well I’m here to tell you that you are. The stars and our bodies share some of the same minerals (e.g iron, calcium). The stars that we look up at in amazement exist within us in different ways. When a Leo shines and a Libra charms, that’s the stars burning bright within them.

 

The reason I started this page is because while astrology can be a very deep subject, I believe there’s room for it to also be fun and relatable! The stars are for all of us, whether you’re calculating your profection year or just wondering what sandwich Gemini is.
